We sell new, used and refurbished clocks-wall, mantel, and tall case clocks.
Most repairs can be done in your home, or if necessary, repairs can be done in our shop.
We offer in-home routine servicing to keep your clock running smoothly year after year.
Passion for clocks
At 'Clocks In Time', we have a passion for clocks both old & new. If you have a clock that's not running or keeping good time, we can help. To us, nothing is as satisfying as hearing a well-synced 'tick, tock' after repairing or servicing a tired or broken clock.
2nd generation
We learned what we know from our 'Pop', who was an "old-school", self-taught craftsman with a talent for woodworking and for building and servicing clocks. His kids grew up with the sounds of clocks ticking and chiming throughout the house. That same appreciation for clocks as well as his knowledge and the passion has since been passed on to us. We cheerfully share that enthusiasm with our customers .
Friendly & fair
We treat our customers like friends and family. We treat you and your clock with respect, and offer clear, up front pricing. There are no gimmicks, no tricks - just good service at a fair price.
There is such a wide variety of clocks, and clock movements, that it makes the many different variables for potential problems difficult to troubleshoot without actually inspecting your clock. Many issues are due to wear & tear and lack of maintenance.
Clocks run 24/7 365 days a year and need simple, routine maintenance to keep running smoothly and accurately.
Our charges are very simple. An in-home service call is $125, which covers the first hour, and then $75 per hour after we arrive. Travel time is included up to 25 miles. For miles over 25, there is a $3 per additional mile charge. (both ways) We use Google Maps to calculate distance from our location to yours. The average visit is 1-3 hours. 1 hour being the norm. This includes inspection, light cleaning and lubrication as needed, and any adjustments that need to be made in order to make the clock run, or perform better than when we arrived.
In the event that the movement has to come out of the clock, and be taken to the shop for bench testing, there is a flat fee of $75. It may take several days to pinpoint a diagnosis. No repairs would be started until the diagnosis and repair options and estimated costs are discussed with you. Payment in full is requested after the repairs are completed, the movement is in the clock and running, and you are completely satisfied.
